Automatic Bollards

Bully Boy’s range of automatic bollards includes 4, 6, 8 and 11 inch diameter models.

The 6, 8 and 11 inch are available at heights of 600mm, 750mm and 900mm

The surface finish is seamless 316 grade stainless steel.

The bollard caps and road surface collars are machined from 316 grade stainless steel

Control of the automatic bollards is based on a system controller which is placed in a secure panel, located near the bollards. The bollards’ operation can be controlled by a smartphone app, remotes or by pin pad or swipe card, and can be integrated into an organisation’s access control system.

We can also manage sensitivity settings of the bollard system, such as “aggressive” to prevent tailgating, or “sensitive” such that if second vehicle nears the bollards as they are rising, it is detected by the in-ground loops and the bollards will lower to allow the vehicle to enter.

Safety is an important aspect for Bully Boy. The system can directly interface into a fire alarm, which can over-ride any setting of the bollards. So, if an alarm is activated, the bollards will retract to enable immediate vehicular access.
